TechDaily启动了即时新闻!



网络媒体有很多好玩的地方,除了互动视频之外,就是即时新闻。

新媒体传播新闻速度之快,绝对是旧媒体忘尘莫及的。

挟着“WWW”力量迅速兴起互联网,从新闻网站到个人博客,正给传统媒体上一堂现代新闻学的课。

毫无疑问的,“今日新闻,今日出街”已经是大势所趋,特别是在重大新闻事件上,传播速度更是至关紧要。

《TechDaily》这篇新闻“PIKOM催谷网上买气救经济”只是牛刀小试的第一步。当中文报的夜报仍未开印前,它就已经上线了。

我们比《马新社》网站慢了些,但那篇英文稿内容不少是官方新闻稿“Copy & Paste”的产物。现将两篇稿件摆在一起,请诸位逐字逐段做出比较。

(即时新闻)PIKOM催谷网上买气救经济

(TechDaily电子报6月30日八打灵再也报道)配合下月首办的2009年度全国资讯、通讯及科技月,大马电脑及多媒体工业协会(PIKOM)将推展一项线上购买运动,以刺激网上买气,进而进广我国的电子商务发展。

从7月20日至8月20日,为期一个月的全国资讯、通讯及科技月(National ICT Month 2009,简称NIM)将会举办多项活动开放给公众人士参加,其中线上购买运动(Buy Online Campaign)被视为在全球经济不景气之际,刺激经济消费的重点活动。

B2C线上购买运动

该线上购买运动旨在推动商家对消费者(Business to Commerce,B2C)的电子商务活动。这也是第一次国人可体验虚拟世界的网上购物月,藉此吸引更多第一次上网消费者。通过新设立的购物网站www.mybeli.com,享用来自200家商家的优惠物品,包括每天和每周拆扣价。

随着我国政府预计今年国民生产总值(GDP)将达4%负成长,该协会相信IT业买气将会进一步下降,不景气仍会持续一整年。

今早在雪州八打灵再也举行的记者会上,该协会主席黄南辉指出,今年遍布国内13个城市的PC Fair首轮展销会出现参观人数上升6%,购买力却下滑10%的情况。

他说,展销会购买力下降可能是有些买家持观望态度。因此,他希望透过网上购物提升电子商务的销量。

电子商务额120亿

他指出,据国际数据机构(IDC)调查显示,2008年我国电子商务交易总额达120亿令吉,相等于每月10亿令吉。他希望这个线上购物网站可增加10%电子交易,并持续长达5个月,以增加今年8月至12月额外5亿零吉的电子交易量。

该协会副主席魏俊明表示,尽管去年我国电子商务交易额达120亿令吉,但大部份流量只是网上订购机票和线上银行交易,国内电子商务仍未成气候。

他说,将推介的线上购物运动旨在鼓励更多大马人上网购物,进一步推广B2C电子商务风气。

除了线上购物运动之外,全国资讯、通讯及科技月活动还有PC Fair电脑展销会、领袖峰会、区域性讲座会、涉及企业社会责任的“eWASTE”环保运动、CXO慈善高尔夫球、PIKOM软件及服务展示会(PIKOM Software & Services Showcase,简称PS3),以及发布ICT策略研究报告书。

PIKOM Plans Activities For National ICT Month


KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- The Association of the Computer and Multimedia Industry Malaysia (Pikom) plans various programmes to mark National ICT Month (NIM) this year.

According to the association, the aim is to further create awareness, generate demand, and address issues and opportunities in the country's information and communications technology (ICT) industry.

Pikom's deputy chairman Wei Chuan Beng said NIM 2009, from July 20 to August 20, will have various programmes in place to benefit businesses, government, academia and society nationwide.

The events include a major conference under the Pikom Leadership Summit as well as exhibitions like Pikom Software and Services Showcase and PC Fair computer bargain sales, Wei said.

"We hope a month-long of ICT activities will spur the domestic ICT industry," he said at a media briefing on NIM 2009 here Tuesday.

Wei, who is also organising chairman for NIM 2009, said during the period, Pikom will launch a pilot e-waste campaign to educate consumers on the importance of recycling their electronic and electrical equipment.

The association will also organise a buy online campaign during the month to promote e-commerce activities in the country, he said.

Under the campaign, consumer will be offered discounts from over 200 merchants as well as special daily and weekly promotions via the www.mybeli.com website.

Wei said during NIM 2009, Pikom will release its first research publication titled "ICT Strategic Review 2009/10: Innovation, The Way Forward".

Aim of the inaugural publication is to share the Malaysian ICT sectoral outlook with Pikom members, industry leaders, government agencies, media and public, he said.

During the month, Pikom through its regional chapters in the north, south, Sabah and Sarawak will organise seminars to help facilitate ICT oganisations in sourcing for opportunities and addressing key concerns of the industry.
